Meet the GlobeLink Foreign Language Center Staff
The expertise of GlobeLink FLC is multi-level
and varied. All of our instructors are highly
experienced native speakers or have in-country
experience, and several of them are accredited.
Fadia Zaki-Gnoske
MA, MBA
GlobeLink FLC’s owner, Fadia Zaki-Gnoske, is an
extremely qualified and talented linguist and
businesswoman. Born in Cairo, Egypt, she
attended a French school, grew up in Italy, and
spent five years in Scotland while studying for
her MA in Economics and her MBA in International
Business and Finance. Before she was 18 years
old, she was fluent in 5 languages: Arabic,
French, Italian, Spanish and English. She has
lived and traveled extensively in Europe, the
Middle East, Australia and North America.
She came to Colorado Springs in 1992 after a
career as a business consultant in the
Washington, D.C. area, and as a pre-school to
6th grade teacher in the Virginia area.
After teaching languages at the United States
Air Force Academy, The Colorado College, The
University of Colorado at Colorado Springs,
Pikes Peak Community College, and many of the
military bases in our area, Fadia chose to open
GlobeLink to offer a broad range of language
services to the community.
Fadia Zaki-Gnoske recently founded GlobeKids,
Inc, a company dedicated to teaching foreign
languages to children in pre-school through
grade 12.
Stefania Tafoya
Stefania Tafoya is the full time Class
Coordinator for GlobeLink Foreign Language
Center. She is available to answer all queries
related to language instruction and acquisition.
She manages all aspects of class scheduling and
delivery. She works diligently to ensure that
all student’s needs and requests are met in a
timely manner. She is knowledgeable about the
instructors enabling her to pair them up
efficiently with students according to their
individual strengths and experience.
Stefania was born in Italy where she lived for
20 yrs before moving to the United States. She
also lived in Germany for 4 years where she was
able to travel extensively and become familiar
with different cultures and life in the European
community.
She is also an Italian translator and
instructor. Her knowledge of foreign languages
extends to French and German as well. She holds
a degree in Graphic Design and excels in
translations that require knowledge of the
advertising industry. Stefania is also an
accomplished artist and has been painting since
she was 15 yrs old.
